Actually, they did a story about Amazon's use of robots. I think it is, or was, going to be on, "60 Minutes Overtime", (?), The robots Amazon showed, all had front and side traffic braking. They had the news crew walking in front of them, and they worked perfectly, and obviously safely.

Do I know if this is the "whole story," obviously not.

Am I suspicious of worker's compensation lawsuits? You betcha. But I do think the truth lies somewhere between the two extremes of opinion. That's just "good old human nature" at play.

I bet the robots get treated better than the humans especially since they do not need bathroom breaks. Who knows about the truth - except I think we can be certain the corporate dolts will never admit any hint of mistreatment.

People were not driving anywhere near as much, therefore, there was a surplus of gas that could not be sold (due to people driving less) so the price fell drastically. Well, guess what???? I really don't understand all the angst & hate for Jeff Bezos. We're not talking about a guy who wants to control the world(Tim Cook), we're talking about a man who wants to make the world a better place and help forward science progress.

There's a lot of things Bezos could do to make the world a better place. This isn't it. And what scientific progress is this launch really helping to forward? It doesn't seem like anything particularly new is being tried. I mean SpaceX already has succesful re-usable rockets. It seems more like helping forward the idea of space tourism for the ultra-rich, while all us regular folks are being told to walk instead of taking the car.
