Please help!

I have a problem with my HP Pavilion 9030us laptop - few days ago the screen started going randomly black (like as it is saving on power, when I used to move the mouse or the keyboard - it went on again) and yesterday after a reboot I got 'stripes' on the logo screen:

and after that a BSOD

I used the PC Recovery routine but it only succeded up to the point where it needs to load the WinXp - and I got the same BSOD

Help please? whare should I start?

I have had the same problem (but the stripes went from side to side), the graphics card was ded...it was a bit too much OC;d so it overheated...if you have an other graphics card or an integrated try that one and see if the same problem appears.

THanks - I fear that it is the Graphics card...
