Preview for WP 8.1

Update:
All went well, and star feature seems to be very good integration of Cortana, which has the potential of becoming whole lot more than Siri and Google Now put together (since its still in beta/ development). Only issue is, how people will look at you when they notice you talking with your phone!

Overall good update, with very responsive OS / new WP store, tweaks in settings, VPN support and IE11 seems to be pretty fast overall.

Edit:

Biggest gripe is removal of social network integration, making it difficult to share stuff on e.g. twitter. Although this can be achieved via available APIs, but it must now be done by the application developers, so hopefully application updates should fix that in due course.

Its been few days, and absolutely no problems when it comes to stability, performance (as expected from an WP smartphone) is fantastic and consistent. During this time I've gone from 925 to 1520 :D

Here are few screen shots:

I also noticed that battery life seems to has improved considerably since the update, on both the sets I've used in recent days.

Just another update:
Although I've been using third party File Explorer on WP8.1 Prv for a while, MS confirmed that it is going to launch one soon. So, I guess this means WP will become first Mobile OS with file manager from its maker (since others need 3rd party apps to fill that gap).

Also no issues whatsoever so far, its been pretty smooth sailing so far, zero hang ups or crashes of any sorts or reboots (unlike my S4, which slowly has became an ******* pain ** *** *** since KK 4.4.x update).
