Printer is turning off computer

Every time my printer "wakes up" it shuts down my computer.
Running Windows 7 and Brother MFC 7820N hard wired.
Computer and printer have been operating fine together for months.
Other computers also linked to the same printer are not affected.
Any suggestions?

Are the other computers wirelessly connected to this printer

No. All computers are hard wired.
Nothing has changed with our set up here.
Went home on Friday with everything working and arrived on
Tuesday with the problem occurring.

Swap a non-affected computer with the affected one. This will tell you if it is the computer or something else in the connection
