Problem setting up graphics system

  1. My computer has failed to display internet pages for a few days, it shows te cannot display page on opening IE. I know the connection is fine as I can connect to MSN Messenger and it is showing local and internet connection are fine.

I have re-installed the windows update for IE 8, tried Mozilla Firefox and all to no avail.

I now figure its a graphics problem as a game Football Manager 2009 which ws working fine previously now reads an error message "cannot run game. Failed to set up graphics system" when i try and run it.

Might I or my spyware protection have inadvertently deleted some kind of graphics file? If so how could I get it back and get my IE and games up and running again?

Any help/advice appreciated as my tech skills are clearly limited!

Do you have a firewall that might be blocking it. Also are your internet explorer options all default? Make sure your router and or modem is all connected right. Also what do you mean by graphics system, you mean driver?

What are your system specs? Can you run other 3D applications?
