Problem with my dvd player and yahoo messenger

hi every one,
this is naveen.. i am new to techspot as well as to my laptop LENOVO Y510. i have a problem that sometimes my laptop not detecting my in-built DVD palyer ...and when i open yahoo messenger then screen resoluton would reduced to 1280*800 to 800*600 and this happens when only i installed yahoo meseenger in c:\ drive. so please help me to get rid of this problem.....

Perhaps an earlier version of Yahoo messenger might work better.

having same prob

i have the same prob for dvd drive. im using xp. but i dont think its due to yahoo or u sure?

i heard that we need to contact lenovo service, for dvd service.

problem with IE

hi i have some problem that when i open a web page ,the images in that web page are appearing not properly... and i am using tata indicom data card for internet access ...please help me to get rid of this problem...
