Problems Connecting wi-Fi (Sony Xperia Z Ultra)

I bought a new Phone and wanted to use my Xperia Z ultra as a tablet but will not let me connect or find my Wi-Fi its a new phone also apparently when I brought it in to get fixed some one took the IMEI???? Is that effecting it ?

No I do not think so. try restoring it to factory settings.

Try shutting down the Xperia then starting it up again. make sure you actually shut it down (press & hold power button).

If this works, to avoid future reocurrence of malware and virus on the system, get a vpn service, it is cheap and the benefit is well worth it. Prevention is better than cure.

Try to remove all previous saved WiFi Network. If you saved previous WiFi network click on it and tap to forget network. Now try to connect with WiFi enter your password enjoy...!
