Problems reading discs with Blu-ray burner

hi,

I have no problems when the unit burn discs.

But when the unit try to read discs, the unit is slow.
I restart Windows 7 and after the restart the unit read discs well.

What could be?

Remove it from the device manager and restart your computer. Let Windows reinstall it automatically. It is a SATA drive right?

After several removes from the device manager,(like 3 o 4)
now the unit's speed when copy from DVD to HDD is fast, like 9 - 13 MB/ sec.

It was like < 1 MB/sec before I did the removes from the device manager.
Well it seems a Windows 7 error, but now I know how to handle it.

Also, this occurs only with blank DVDs media burned.

It's ok with original DVDs.

Maybe the quality of blank DVDs media is the cause.

Yes that could be the issue. I remember when CD burners first came out, blank media quality was a real issue. Maybe this is the case with BluRay media now

Indeed, Im going to buy another brand of blank DVDs media
