I have just built a new system for a friend as follows,
Case - Silverstone SG01
Mobo - DFI LANPARTY-JR P45-T2RS
RAM - 6 gig Samsung 800
Hard Drive - 500gig Seagate
CPU - Intel Q8200
PSU - Coolmaster 600W
He was hoping to have it a little quieter, i told him that i could install a new cooler on the CPU and that would make a difference.
I found a cooler that seemed ok and not too pricey, but i cant find any information on how much noise the standard fan with the CPU actually makes.
I can find many different figures on all sorts of new cooling systems but cant find out anything about the one it will be replacing. Could anyone advise me how much quieter the Zalman CNPS9500LED wil be than the standard fan
