Question regarding Windows boot process

I know that you can create a dual boot scenario by creating a second partition and loading Windows on the second partition. Is it possible to install a second SATA HD and choose which hard drive to boot from during the boot process?

Yes, but it really depends on your motherboards bios options. In newer bios you can choose which hard drive to boot from
