My school requires me to put an honor pledge on every paper or essay I turn in. How can I make it so MS Word stores my honor pledge and, rather than type it out every time, I click a button and MS Word enter the honor pledge for me?

For clicking on a button and getting it I don't know if it is possible but what can be done is that you write it and when you finish with the pledge you save the page only with the pledge then each time you need it you just have to use this one and you won't have to write it everytime.

Create a new doc
  • Use Print View
  • Space down to the Second Page
  • Now enter the Pledge
  • Perform a Save As and set the Document Type to Template (Word Feature dependent)
  • and give it a name (eg: school documents.dot which is independent) and store it in the top directory in which you keep your your work
Close

Now Open the .DOT document and create the new report. You leave the .DOT
document static (unchanged) by performing SAVE AS for your new paper.
