He broke the golden rule; never let a girl get inside your head. If your girlfriend is sleeping around and you disapprove, you don't act like a chump and beat her for a half hour. You dump her, stone cold, like a man. Instead, this douche has given up both his job and reputation.

  4. Don't think he needs "year-long domestic-violence training." sounds to me like he's got that down pat already!

No, you would stone her to death instead! No, wait! That means you were probably stoned to death first, freeing her to move on.

Stoning is so archaic. If we're going to go to extremes, it has to be sharks with lasers attached to their frickin heads.
  8. Some people have all the fun! Start-ups, CEOs, moving to California at the age of 4, and even bringing your family along (not bad for a kid!), girlfriends who sleep with others for money (practical) but not protecting themselves (foolish), domestic violence training, video recordings, unlawful warrantless searches, probations... Who said Information Technology is dull?

They aren't married. This is a case of unapproved fornication with economic benefits that resulted in a third party engaging in a highly questionable lesser contract renegotiation/enforcement. This of course assumes that the purchasers of said fornication services were not bound by the applicable contracts and legal documentation.
