Ok so my son tried download a game on my desktop, now I am getting this message! .....(Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and presx a key_)Can any one please help Margaret?

I think what happened is that the basic settings for where the system will find starting instructions (BIOS or UEFI) have been modified. How to enter the place where this is kept can be done only as the system 'boots' and it requires a special key which is different from one maker to another. The motherboard manual or the system manual will describe this.

There is a slight possibility that something nasty could sneak in, so run an anti-malware as soon as you get the system running.
