Red screen

When I startup my laptop all I get is a red screen with the date and time showing. running windows 10

Guess as to most likely - connection from motherboard to display has come loose or GPU is broken ...but rather tough to fix, so....
steps to take:
- power cycle (power down everything, unplug charger, remove battery, hold power button down for 20 seconds) - then reconnect and power up
- if you can see your way, go into BIOS/settings and try 'default settings'

Try going to the BIOS and resetting the settings. Tell me if it helped.
