Removing duplications

What I forgot to mention when I talked about dragging and dropping and/or copy and paste to VLC is once you X out of the player the list is gone.
Yes I remember the thread from when you first showed it to me.
I thought then and I still think. Too many (confusing) hoops to jump through for a playlist much easier to find a player that will automatically generate a playlist. Which I found in MPC-HC.
WEll, if you found it in MPC-HC, are you going to dump RP?
I know my VLC does everything I've needed. :)

At least for now I'm going to keep all 3 I still haven't mastered using download helper to download music into VLC or MPC-HC Right now I open download folder in Download helper and there's all the videos I ever recorded. On this PC that is;0) I can choose any player to play them in but I can still only do downloads with RP. I downloaded a bunch of stuff late last night. I'm going to check, in a minute, if they show up in my Download helper folder If they do, and I can play them on any player I want. That will have to do for a while.

I deleted this from my reply half a day ago, but now I feel obligated to ask.

Why do you need video playlists? I can think of one or 2 specific instances where one would be nice, but a vast majority of my video playing (and I perhaps incorrectly assume others too) does not need any playlist.

To keep track of the videos I have downloaded Right now were talking around 275 of them.
Maybe if I was younger I could remember them all, right off the top of my head. But. Not now days
As it is, even with a list, I download videos, only to find out later as I'm going through my list, that I already downloaded it. Heck. If I didn't have a list there is no telling how many times I would download the same video. I really need something that finds and deletes dups. Like Winamp had, ;0)

As far as using video downloader goes, once the 3 little circles start moving, you'll see a very tiny upside down pyramid, click it & it should show you the file name, click it & you can choose what folder you want it in. :)

Download them all to the same directory/folder. Open folder, change view to details. There is your list. Why won't this work? Especially if you do what @learninmypc said just above this about naming them.

It dawned on me that we have talked about video down loader a long time ago. So forgive me if I ask questions that you have already answered.

O.K. I tried to do what you said I went to YouTube and started watching a video. The three little balls started moving. But. I can't find a upside down triangle. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong spots.Although I think I looked everywhere.
Was there a step I missed that would bring the pyramid up?

Also once the little balls are moving, does that mean that the video is being recorded?
Is the reason I can't find the recordings because I didn't click on the upside down pyramid and assign it a destination folder. Thanks

To everyone;
I never did explain why I wanted two player with playlists.
Some of the videos show the singer, or group performing on stage, or in a music video, Like what you would see on MTV or VH1.
The others only have a picture of the singer, or group, a picture of an album cover, or the song being played on a 45, or LP.
I wanted to separate the two, so I could have one player with nothing but performances.

DLH Pyramid.JPG Ok, to the right of the the 3 balls, you'll see the "tiny" pyramid. ONLY the balls move, the pyramid don't. click it & you'll see the file name. If the video you're downloading has a PICTURE only, put it in the PICTURE only folder otherwise put it in the other folder. Simple. No separate lists necessary. :)

Yes. I realize that only the 3 balls move.
I'm looking up at the 3 balls now and there is no pyramid to the right . I'm going to watch another video, to see if the pyramid only shows up when the balls are moving.

O.K. Now I'm getting somewhere ;0) I found the pyramid. I started watching a video left clicked on the pyramid. got HQ5 name of vid.flv
(mobile) name of vid, 3gp
(medium name of vid.
720p name of song. mp4
(Medium) name of song HQ36
Hovered over the choices. chose 720-- MP4 picked quick download Download went up to the top of the page to the arrow that points down. ( the same one that's activated when you do other downloads like Filehippo) Clicked on it after it finished downloading. Took me to the download clicked on it and it played Yea! Now I need find it's folder.

When you picked "quick download", I've never used that. I simply click on the file name & it automatically goes to the folder where it goes. I never let anything go to the downloads folder, ALWAYS to the desktop (filehippo) or another folder (videos).
