Rename removable drive letter

hi all

i need some advice please, i would like to map 2x network drives to some of the computers in the office. i want to name them J: & I: (for cad reasons)

this is all fine on all of the workstations except 1 laptop, it has a multi-card reader in the side that even when inactive occupies 4x drive letters including I:

i have searched a few forums but could not find the answers i was looking for, i have tried device manager to rename etc.

Can anyone shed some light onto this matter for me?

Start->Run, enter diskmgmt.msc

When Disk Management opens, click View->Bottom->Disk List

Look at the list of disks in the bottom view. Does the multi-slot reader appear? (Each slot would be listed as a Disk with tyoe Each card slot would appear as a Disk and Type= Removable
