Robots in TechSpot?

  1. Curious, I clicked on the "Users online now" link & saw this
    Robots.JPG

    Does robots mean the kind that search threads so when one googles something it might show up from here? Or ??? Just curious :)

    I knew it! skynet is now self-aware... and terminator: genesis is slated to be released in 2015.

    I think it means all potential types of web robots: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_bot

    You can do a Google search using "internet bots", or "web robots", for many more detailed explanations.

    @learninmypc the short answer is YES. This is how a webmaster drives traffic to a site - - allowing bots to find and index topics.
