Is there a way to buy a software upgrade for an Android LG l322sd to make it compatible with usb devices to display the phone's output on a dumb tv.

I would think that a 'dumb tv' would have NO connectivity with anything known as USB

Some older tv's with usb input can use a type of usb adapter to put the output of a smartphone to the tv similar to an Amazon firestick or Roku making a smart tv out of a dumb tv. The smartphone has to have the software to support this. I don't think mine does. I need a list of Android phones that support this or if my device can receive a software upgrade to do this. I don't know if all legacy tv's will work. I think they must have usb in.
