SPI installation failure

I have tried every which way to install SP1 to no avail. Any workable alternative method or program to help. Microsoft website is confusing me, (its like their competitor designed this confusing unhelpful spider website.)

You'll need to post some details like what version of Windows is this? Is it an OEM installation, Home or Pro version? Self installed?

Hi Microsoft is the last place to go for help. Answer @mailpup questions and you will get the best help here on techspot forum. Those questions are all important for us to help you. Post as much information as you can about your problem and be patient. Someone will try to find a solution to your issue.

Here's W7 update history. You could try to install the updates manually. Worth a try! Let us know how things go.
