Sprint: Samsung Galaxy Tab out on November 14 for $400+

I wonder if tablets are even going to take off. I know the ipad is selling well so it looks like a possibility.

Does anyone know if the Samsung has an IPS display? This would make it much easier to see at different angles, which I think is important.

I'm with you there... viewing angle often gets overlooked on devices, but it is quite important on anything is aimed at media. I'd really like to start seeing IPS and MVA type panels being used instead of TN panels.

Whats more is display manufactures really need to start putting effort back into transflective LCD's for readability in natural sunlight. I used to have an hp iPAQ that had a pretty good transflective display that actually worked fairly well in the sun.

I don't get why i should pay that much for an unpractical netbook with really expensive dataplan.. And the OS is probably restricted to very limited use anyway..

Though i'd prefer this over the infamous iPad, anytime

the main thing is that this ****ing ipads have no flash support.. while galaxy has that!
that's smarter!

i think Steve Jobs is a smart man... he makes a device.. and cuts the features to the minimum when he is planning to launch it.. no doubt the devices are attractive.. but what does it cost or how the hell can they not put flash into it.. secondly.. they always have been doing it.. the apple family.. they will now launch the new ipad.. 6 months from now.. and.. the only difference will b flash.. probably a camera.. which is required.. and.. a free keyboard!!
so those who are acting dumb buying it now.. wil need a better device when compared with the new one
smart business.. but.. ultimately fooling..
they say they make it eco friendly.. do you know more than 25% of the apple products bought in the past are unused and are replaced against a new apple product which is ultimately wastage of resources!! that too. in less than one years time..
they're purely business minded!
