I would go for a 970 + an upgraded i5 (i5 3570K, which uses the same socket) + a hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler. That will be a great upgrade. As for brands, I like EVGA, ASUS, and Gigabyte. But MSI is also good. It may take some research to determine which is best because you are from India and some companies may charge more for importing there (therefore a higher unit price).

at flipkart it is Rs. 31,900 (519.58 US Dollars)

at newegg india it is Rs. 21487.99 (349.99 US Dollars)

1 Indian (Rupees) ₹ = 0.016 US $ (Dollar)

I am confused ?.

The GTX960 would be a big upgrade to what u had.
