Personally, I don't think Trump or Musk have the knowledge of economics that some people who study economics do and those same people, who have that economic knowledge that Musk/Trump lack, claim his policies will drive prices up. We'll see here, too.
And if those experts are correct, they also state that no president can control prices. End of story. Therefore, it's disingenuous for anyone to blame Biden, or any other president in history. The only reason Trump likes to blame Biden is that it deflects from Trump's own conduct and makes him look like a Saint when, IMO, the exact opposite is true. Unfortunately, those who know no better think he's telling the truth.
And Trump/Musk are supposedly claiming transparency with DOGE. Yet another lie that his rabid supporters will believe even though it is something that they can verify for themselves.

BTW, Trump gave out the first round of "free money", demanding his name be put on the checks. Then, he was voted out of office. Biden finished sending out the already negotiated and approved funds legislated by congress.
As to "we'll see" about whether or not trimp will bring down prices, gasoline is already up about 15 cents, while eggs are approaching double their pre-a**hole musk acting as president prices.

As an atheist, I prefer to remain in the skeptical darkness. As it is a superstition, religion impedes human progress, as much as it advances it. IMO, the money would be less wasted on a subscription to a porn site.

Honestly, I don't GAS about prices. I'm nowhere near walking the the path of poverty, and I bought a PHEV over a year ago. I've only been to the gas station 6 or 7-times since I bought it, 4 of those were fill-ups after long trips. I also have a secure job that is not subject to the whims of our newly self-anointed king.
Well maybe you'll get your wish, and you can kiss the ring, or something else, of the new King since he just might become the only party...
As I see it, what keeps people brainwashed is the inability to detect a load of BS even when its dropped on them, such as the load of BS spouted by The Great Pumpkin while on the campaign trail, because he was playing to his audience only to give his audience what they wanted to hear so they would vote for him.

Well the POTUS is a figurehead anyway. Pretty much everyone who saw the debate between trimp and Harris agree that she pretty much tore him a new one. That's not bad for a "know nothing". The trimpster was so flustered he debased himself by claiming, "Haitians are eating pets".
The simple fact is, whether Harris was a good candidate or not, we wouldn't have a complete fool like RFK Jr. as secretary of health, nor Elon Musk as acting POTUS.

Even Caroline Kennedy came out strongly against RFK Jr., saying something to the effect of, "he's a nut job, perennially trading on the Kennedy name".
Proof of RFK Jr. being a nut job can surely be seen in the Texas measles outbreak. As I understand it, none of the ones who contracted measles were vaccinated. And RFK Jr believes in conspiracy theories about vaccines. Even though he said he wouldn't, in his confirmation hearings, I would not be surprised if RFK Jr. finds a way to make vaccinations for children optional. In this singular case, I agree with Mitch McConnell's vote not to confirm him. After all, WTF is to stop any of the Great Pumpkins nominees from lying to congress?
But all that the Great Pumpkin is interested in is retribution. He doesn't give a crap about the US or the citizens that his policies hurt. Sooner or later, he will fool himself. Not soon enough for my liking.
