Sylvania TV switching inputs

Hello all. For some time now, my TV has been switching to the DVD input. I have no idea why it does this. I will simply be watching the TV or using my PC connected to the TV and it will change. It even turns on, from being turned off, to switch to the DVD input. I have no idea why it does this. I have removed the batteries from the remote to rule out a faulty remote, but it still does this.

I cannot unplug the TV as it is, so perhaps something else is wrong?

Excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong section. Point me in the right direction if I have.

Yeah, I guess so.

But, either the TV (or IR receiver) is broken and sending false signals, or something in your home is sending signals. Microwave, universal remote, portable devices with IR.... anything like that near your TV?

Nothing is near the TV that should send IR signals to it. We keep our remotes below the TV and the Dlinks away from it as well.
