Task Bar in Wrong Place

The bottom task bar is on the right side of the screen and I can't get it back to the bottom. The OS is Windows XP SP-2. I have tried everything that I can think of and still can't get it to move back to the bottom of the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Hold it with your left mouse button and drag (whilst still holding it) to the bottom of the screen

If it doesn't move
Right Click on it, and untick "Lock the Taskbar" (if that is presently ticked)
Then refer above

Thanks kimsland. Worked perfect. The task bar was locked. It is now locked.
