This doesn't change anything though. I really do need to not be so aggressive around these parts.
Being "less aggressive" is an entirely subjective idea. The moment you stop being who you are is the moment you become a sheep. Don't be a sheep and don't relent to goose-stepping nonsense. Instead, think about different ways to express your passionate self without triggering the "powers-that-be".
That and avoid outright political threads for it seems to bring out the worst in me.
Yeah, that does seem to be a weakness for you. You're far from alone on that one.

Gotta love the irony of the fact of TechSpot publishing articles that heavily involve politics and then they get all holier then thou when people get all unpleasant about it. It's like they couldn't see that kind of reaction coming. They're only doing it for the clicks & views. They don't care at all about the comments that follow.

Look at some of these people man.
I'm sure you also remember a time when, if you didn't like something, you avoided it, you didn't keep going back to it, then whine like a little girl getting her hair pulled by some I***t on the playground.

Look at the article "Trump administration exempts phones, computers, CPUs, memory, and chipmaking tools from sweeping tariffs".
A write-up about the price of so many tech products being manipulated by one outside force, in this case, an as****e. So should the fact that the as****e is a politician mean it should not be discussed?
Absolutely not.

And bravo! Thanks for being the perfect example! Beautiful! It's almost as if it was on purpose.
