The Best Computer Cases: Updated for 2017

My favorite computer case is the Alienware Area 51 R2 Tetrahedron. You can get them for $300 and up on Ebay.

My problem is that I wanna put a Core i9 X299 motherboard in one and it isn't big enough or designed in a way I could use all the features. I wish another company would do their own (larger) design of this case.

HP OMEN is too square for me. Not exciting.

Love my cosmos II
Best easiest case to work IN I've ever seen.
Looks like half the complaints are about shipping damage and the other half are about something not fitting correctly somewhere.
This isn't a plug and go case and buying something that big you shouldn't expect it to be. 99 cent rac converters and fifty cent packages of screws will solve any 'it doesn't fit there' issues.
I laughed at the reviews complaining about external drive bays, one of the selling features that made the decision to buy it more reasonable. I have three optical drives, bluray, DVD-RW, and a floptical. But some nimrods think nobody has a use for 5.25 bays. How about card readers, fan controllers, audio control decks. Etc!

And! There's more drive bays than you can use in this inside too!

The C2 is spacious, probably it's one fault. There really is a LOT of space but with some hefty fans and partly parted doors I'm running a 9590FX on AIR. And it's STABLE.
No other case I've seen then or now would make that (reasonably) possible! The bottom power supply mount. Included array of fans, easy cable routing; there's nothing to not love about this case. Except maybe the weight. Fully stocked and filled it weighs more than an xt portable! But I'm not moving it so I don't care.

Just did a PC case, PSU and EVGA GTX 1080 SC upgrade for a mate. Put the guts into a Thermaltake versa c21 which doesn't have a PSU shroud. The Thermaltake Smart RGB 600W 80+ certified Power Supply has 5 year warranty. They are trying to promote them together with this case. Case was $99 and PSU was $75. Sold out everywhere and I was lucky to get the last ones. Seems like RGB cases & RGB PSU's are still more popular as it looks awesome than tempered glass which is too heavy and messy if it breaks. Who needs a shroud if you have an RGB PSU anyway. You can fit a 240 mm AIO Rad in the top with an optical drive. You can also mount in the front a 360 mm Rad by removing the modular 5.25" bay. This option pretty much sealed the deal for me as you cant fit an optical drive with a front tempered glass case. They should do reviews on more bang for buck cases.
