The Best OLED Gaming Monitors: From $350 QD-OLED to Flagship Tandem WOLEDs

OLED is life. The image clarity is unmatched. Once you leave that smeary LCD mess, you will understand.

Best alternative for 2026 displays TV as a monitor is the 48 inch c6 with tandem oled panel imo. It has around 1500 peak brightness and supports 85% bt2020 as per Displayguy and Rtings.

FYI they get sold out pretty quickly.1000067134.jpg1000067130.jpg1000067128.jpg

I went back to VA. OLED just is overly washed out vs the vibrancy of VA. My 48" LG OLED monitor now services one of my side rigs.

Are they still clear even at 60hz, or only when set at 240hz?
OLED is more clear than LCD regardless of refresh rate.
The panel tech is far better overall. OLED has way superior motion clarity.

Watch slow-mo videos of OLED and LCD in motion, and you will understand why. LCD scans and refreshes the image top-down, OLED changes pixels instantly across the entire panel at once. This is why motion is vastly better.

LCD has tons of flaws compared to OLED. Low contrast, bad viewing angles, smeary with bad motion clarity, poor black levels, bad uniformity and I could probably mention alot more things if I bothered. Everyone knows LCD is dated tech. When was the last time you saw a flagship phone with a LCD panel? LCD is mostly used in budget products these days.

Gsync Pulsar and BFI (depending on integration) can decrease smearing alot on LCD, but still loose to OLED which don't need features like this. BFI lowers brightness by 50% and halves refresh rate too, it's not all positive.

This is why OLED monitors dominate in the gaming space. Most buying a higher end monitor today, will look at OLED. Most gaming on their TV, prefer OLED if budget allows it.

LCD has pretty much left the high end gaming monitor market now. LCD is used in lower to mid-end stuff. With very few exceptions.

Mini LED backlighting and especially the newer RGB backlighting can improve LCD but these backlighting technologies introduce input lag and are very expensive to make, meaning they often end up being more expensive than OLED.

Wrong, the 48 inch does not use their latest Tandem tech. Only 65+ inch does. C6 is a fail of a TV. The C6H is the one that has the new display tech. So no, C6 is just barely better than C4 and 5. This is why LG did this, so people can get confused by the reviews. I love it, scamming is totally legal nowadays. So either you know about this and you are you know what.. or you were missinformed big time. I hope ur not a bad agent, but hey... calling you out either way. :) People shouldnt buy the C6 low brightness trash. In fact, G5 is cheaper than C6 tandem.

Here is the info for you : Unlike previous years, LG is releasing multiple versions of their popular C Series OLEDs in 2026. This review is for the 42, 48, 55, and 65-inch C6, which come with a slightly updated OLED-EX panel similar to the 2025 LG C5 OLED. Larger sizes of the C6 are called the LG C6H OLED; it's available in 77 and 83-inch sizes and comes with a more advanced tandem OLED panel featuring LG's Hyper Radiant technology.

Maybe I'm out of touch but don't most gamers who play FPS competitively use 25" monitors because you lose information outside your field of vision with larger screens?
