I recently took apart my 2010 Macbook Pro to "fix" it and fried the motherboard. Would love a new laptop for college. If I win, the cover stays on this one.

This would be replacing a broken (essentially unusable) 2013 Macbook Pro and an old 24 inch 1920x1200 monitor from...Asus, I think. Had it so long I can't even remember. Bought a cheap, but decent desktop setup to replace the laptop temporarily so I can edit photos, but man would a 4K Ultrasharp make that an easier process...and a laptop to take on photoshoots again would be great.

My laptop (an oldie but a goodie!) died during Hurricane Hermine. I am now using a friend's old desktop, and while I appreciate the loan, it is soooo slooowww. The 4K monitor would allow me to see so much more and more clearly.

Ours is a hand me down household, especially when it comes to computers. Not being at the top of the food chain, winning this awesome Dell package including: Dell XPS 13 ultraportable and the 32" Dell UltraSharp 4k UP3216Q monitor would be upgrading me from a HP Pavilion g7 (many years old) putting me on top of the chain for a change!

I'll donate the monitor and backpack to anyone who wants it, I just really need a new laptop. I've been eyeing the Dell XPS 13 for months now and have been saving up to buy one since June. Sadly, I had to use the money I was saving in order to pay for rent at school (probably the saddest part is that with the paycheck I get tomorrow I would have had enough to buy one) . My laptop right now is a 6 year old Acer Asper 5349-2592 series which critically broken. The right hinge of the screen doesn't exist anymore, the cooling fan blasts at 100% on start up, the screen freezes every 30 minutes because I barely have anymore space on it. One speaker is completely blown so the sound is also nonexistent and the headphone jack is also broken. You can give everything else to anyone but the Dell XPS 13 is really my dream computer.
