Smoke and mirrors. That is all this topic is. I have a hard time believing Apple (Any company for that matter) released a phone without a backdoor.

Does this mean that the FBI could not fight crime before the invention of the smartphone?

I assume this is why the Most Wanted list is has always populated ironically by the same figures. They just can't catch these guys without smartphone access.

That or they'll have keys to decode the encryption or just crack it with super computers.
