I unplugged the computer and pressed the on'/off button for 30 seconds. That seemed to solve the problem. Now operating as it is supposed to and cheaper than buying a battery. Why this worked I have no idea.
Toshiba support sucks. Toshiba has a "1 year" warranty but after 90 days you can't get tech support online. Difficult to figure out how to get in touch with anyone. I would NEVER buy anything from them again.
