It is laptop-thick. Smaller price doesn't excuse a bulky design, not today.
This could be due to the fact that it is just an ordinary laptop running Chrome OS instead of Windows hence the (to some) misleading name of Chromebook.
On the whole it sounds like good value for money to me.
