Totally *****ic Question

Please don't flame me, I'm an *****, but on the back of one's computer, what is the blue jack/port for? As in the one next to the pink one (for microphones etc.) and the green one (speakers etc.) I've honestly never thought to ask.

I believe the blue audio jack is generally a line in port...that on a lot of newer boards can be retasked as something else (like surround or rear speakers). Your best bet is to google your mobo manufacturer's site and download the manual for a detailed description of what it does / can do.
