Putting politics aside, how exactly would the defiance of a single mayor trigger a "constitutional crisis".

Was that a joke or just ignorance of what the term means?

SCOTUS has ruled that constitutionally these aliens have no protected status and thus are liable to deportation. Mamdani is openly defying this, and promising to ignore both federal law and the rulings of the judicial branch, by shielding them from deportation. Still worse, other prominent Democrats are siding with him, threatening to spread the insurrection to other areas.

You failed to read properly. As the post clearly expresses, both sets of tariffs -- the EU and the US -- vary by country of origin and by product. Not that it's even crucial to the point: anyone who believes that 10% tariffs on one cut of beef and 100% tariffs on another is ethically and economically sound, whereas 50% tariffs on all is not, is a person who should be allowed to wander around outside without professional supervision.

At this rate everyone should just slap a 1000% tariff on US goods and stop trading with the orangutang.

He literally refused to retrieve an American citizen he illegally deported, been held in criminal contempt and is well into the hundreds on just immigration policies alone. Not to mention the war crimes.

Two separate immigration judges ruled that Abrego Garcia was deportable, but couldn't be deported to his home country, because "he feared rival gangs might target him." (interesting statement from someone who claims to not be a gang member, eh?)

Because of that order, SCOTUS ruled that the administration should "facilitate" his return to the US, which Trump's DOJ did by issuing an extradition warrant to retrieve him from the prison in which El Salvador placed him. So much for that lie.

As for that absurd "criminal contempt charge" from the openly anti-Trump judge Boasberg, that was immediately voided by the Appeals Court:

Why lie? Trump appointed only three of the current justices, and they -- along with the others striking down these absurd anti-Trump lawsuits -- are doing their job outstandingly.

Compare that to Obama who, in forty four separate cases, was ruled to be acting unconstitutionally by a 9-0 SCOTUS ruling -- even the justices he appointed himself slapped him down.

It’s really not. It’s 100’s of cases in multiple states, it’s not just one judge. Maybe you could google it?
