TS 3.0 redesign bug reports

I personally like the old one better. The new one looks kind of awkward.

BTW, the new textbox is overlapping some sidebar stuff if you decide to keep it:

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but this has been happening for the last few days using safari, I can never finish an article because these options are overlapping it every time haha.

Courtesy of a site layout that doesn't accommodate for Adblock usage. That equates to a bit more than oversight. The words intentional neglect comes to mind. That's OK though because Techspot will survive, no matter how many people get tired of the glitches caused by their annoyance eliminator and decide to leave.

Courtesy of adblock
I was actually going to bring something up, not about Adblock, but about those next and previous buttons. They seem to me like ads, even though they aren't. I guess it is their placement next to one, but still, I think they need to be changed to look less ad-like. Maybe put them horizontally under the article before the ad rather than vertical :).

Also, the overlapping bar has come back on iPad (and probably mobile):

ABE: Not really sure. Sorry.

That is why a lot of people use AdBlock. Ads are getting annoying and more intrusive. Ad firms are even making ads that directly send you to the app store on mobile devices without prompting... good Apple blocked them in iOS 8.

Although I use ABE on FF on my W7, occasionally I still a FULL page pop-up ads till I click refresh. I've tried other adblockers but no better. I'm thinking ads might win the war, damnit!! :)

Hey @Julio Franco, just another minor suggestion, but I always find myself hitting other tabs when trying to use the upper bar (Trending, reviews, etc.). I can show you what I mean since it is hard to describe in words: http://quick.as/p055u9em.

I would suggest making those tabs smaller. It is just a natural motion to go diagonally rather than straight to the side. If you do not want to alter it, its all good, I just thought it was an issue I should bring up.

Menus from the top aren't pulling down on mouse hover anymore (not pulling down at all for that matter). So right now I'm unable to mark forums as read.

Chrome on Win 7

Should be fixed now, we uploaded some mobile optimization changes to the main menu last night but the forum was missing a template change.

@Julio Franco The menu bar issue (on iPad, Safari) is only present now when you do the following: 1) Go down to the text editor. 2) Scroll up or down. After you do the following, the menu bar is displaced.

Also, when I hit "Reply" (quote) on my iPad, it doesn't bring the page down automatically, I have to manually go down to write the message. This is only a minor inconvenience, but if it is not a limitation of the OS/browser, then it could be fixed :D. Thanks.

@Julio Franco the menu bar issue still occurs like I described in my post above. Another issue with the bar is that when you turn your iPad into landscape and then portrait again (and viceversa), it displaces the bar as follows:

Secondly, when typing a post (iPad once again) and you hit the right side of the textbook it tends to displace as follows:

I am using Chrome Version 32.0.1700.107 m and when going through on articles, the Next and Previous article buttons are floating above in the article.
