Twitter locks remaining employees out of offices after hundreds leave following Elon Musk's...

Nobody ever admitted publicly to voting for Trump. And yet, they did and they're here busy defending him and claiming they don't care for him.....LMAO!!
I never voted for Trump. But in 2016, I voted against Hillary Clinton. Her carping on the campaign trail was grating and relentless. So, I did what I thought was right at the time, and voted against, what I thought at the time was, "the lesser of two a**holes".

After Mrs. Clinton gracefully conceded, (after winning the popular vote), Trump announced, "I won by a landslide". I immediately realized I had made one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

Back to topic. Tesla stock is way down, while Musk is taking advertising from his own company, Space-X, and likely devaluing it at the same time.

So, Trump is un-banned. How is that likely to play out? If he comes back, the "human bots", who spent their 8 bucks for that "precious" blue check mark, will suck in all his vitriol and lies,, and then mail checks to his "defense fund", or "campaign fund" call it what you will.

Trump could simply let "Truth Social" go, stiffing his creditors in the process, and take his megaphone full of lies over to Twitter, and only pay 8 bucks to do it.

Now comes the question, with real advertisers bailing, how many of these right wing douche bags will be buying product from Twitter ads, or just bypassing them, while cutting checks to Trump?

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together should quickly realize that nobody on Twitter will be paying Musk for satellite launches. They may however, sign up for Starlink. We;ll have to see how that goes.

Everybody on Musk's side in this thread seems to have forgotten that Musk was forced contractually to buy Twitter, in spite of the fact he tried to put up a bunch of snark and snot on that very platform, to try and get out of it.

you boss asks you to come to work by 2pm.. and you cant do it? bye bye. sound like snowflakes to me.
You've conveniently omitted the part where he told them they were expected to work until 2:00 AM the next day. "Long and hard", (to bail me out of this mess I've gotten myself into with my big mouth)..

Let's be realistic, a 12 hour day is a 12 hour day no matter what your start time is. You can get those 12 hours a day, 6 days a week jobs anywhere. Foxconn springs immediately to mind..

Let's not forget Twitter has been rehiring some of the people they mass laid off a few days ago (when 50% of the company was laid off in mass). Everything points to this takeover being a clusterfk and total chaos.

"Oops. Twitter is already trying to rehire workers Elon Musk fired days ago, sources say"

If you're talking about Musk's email to people asking them to report to him in the office on the same day at 2pm, the letter is poorly and ambiguously worded and seems to imply people working from home in different states also should come into the office at headquarters in San Francisco:

"If possible, I would appreciate it if you could fly to SF to be present in person. I will be at Twitter HQ until midnight and then back again tomorrow morning."

That, combined with the fact half the staff was laid off, benefits were cut, increasing in work & more work is expected on the rest to make up for the laid off workers, etc....then it is no wonder why people jumped ship if they have coding skills that allows them to get a job anywhere.

Are you a snowflake for taking a new job that has better benefits/pay and better working hours than your old job?

We can say these folks are soft and wouldn't be able to survive a hard manual labor job, but it also sounds like free market capitalism to me. It is a part of the American dream to make more money while working less.

No, I think they all quit, because Musk was asking them to do the jobs of the 50% of employees he just fired, and their own job on top of that. Those that quit, responded with with a big, loud, resounding, f**k you .

No, he didn't ask that of them... stop spready fake news. He told them to come back to work... and that also over this transition period they may be asked to work more hours, like hardworking people do.

Nobody is going to feel sorry for loafers... who have an uber sense of entitlement. They are mad because he ruined their party.

Because while I’m lock step with his policies, I don’t think his bs is void for the party. Besides, the poll was a bot honey pot. Musks most intelligent move to catch bots.
Are we talking about the bots Musk claimed were there, and then couldn't find them with his own people?

He did, after all claim that 20% (or thereabouts), of Twitter accounts were bots, but then found out the number was about 11%, which kind of borked his plan to get out of the deal.

As opposed to just paying a billion in damages to Twitter for reneging on the deal, (which his massive ego wouldn't permit), he made it sound like he was doing Twitter a favor by going through with it. Self promotion and publicity, that's what this whole "free speech" thing was about to begin with. He basically "out smarted himself", in the process.

I don't know where you're coming up with all this crap, basically saying, "nobody at Twitter did anything". I'm sure there were a fair share of "loafers" as you put it. But, Musk has proved a failure at separating the wheat from the chaff, at least thus far.

Every major corporation or organization has it's share of drones. That's a given. But that doesn't necessarily warrant the sole basis of your argument so far. To sum that up, "everybody I disagree with at Twitter was a worthless slacker".

I think it's fair to say that your yourself probably haven't given 110%, every time you roll out of bed and go to work.

Anything you don't agree with is "fake news". Now you're channeling Musk and Trump. Although one has to wonder if it's, "channeling", or merely, "parroting".
No, I am pointing out your hyperbole... and lies.

Because Elon musk didn't ask those remaining to work 50% harder, to cover for the people he fired. That is your fragility showing, needing to make excuses for the SJW getting fired for complaining about working.

These lax employees are firing themselves... because Elon ruined their social club.

Again, you are lying.

Musk hired a research firm that found over 20% of active accounts, were bots. Musk presented it to the board, they would NOT verify or even give Elon the exact numbers. Even after he sued them.. the refused.

Any sane person can scroll through Joe Biden followers and know instantly, that 90% of those people, are bots. Go look yourself... over 80k all joined Twitter on the same days and followed Joe Biden... (lol... u r 2 afraid to go look)

Sadly, You really don't have knowledge of the facts and are spewing "fake news"... because whatever you are doing, you are not getting the full story, only half..

Yeah, and then his own people surveyed the organization, and came up with a figure of about 11%.+- I can't recall if that figure came from a thread here, or at that bastion of "fake news" CBS broadcasting.

In the subtext, I get the feeling that you're claiming that Biden's followers were all bots, while Trump never had any. Yet, he still lost the election. Or did he? Well, according to just about everybody else, the election was fair. Only Donnie boy, and that c**t Kari Lake out in Arizona are clinging to that "fake news", rigged election manure, that's been rightfully categorized as, "the big lie".

In fact, even far, far, Qanon far right, Doug Mastriano eventually conceded in the race for PA governor. Note that he didn't summon a mob to storm the PA capital. I guess under the standards you're proposing he's one a them thar "slackers", you're so aggrieved by.

Like I said before Musk tried to get out of the deal by claiming there were more bots than there are. (Or that he could prove that there were) So, Joe Biden's bots really don't have anything to do with it.

Everything you disagree with, you start spouting the "fake news" dogma..

Here, you decide what's "fake news". It kinda depends on who you ask.
https://www.businessinsider.com/elo...ys Elon Musk was,%, Twitter's legal team said.

I think Business Insider is a reliable source. But I have to assume if you don't like the story, you'll throw the "fake news" card.

You hate the left, we get it Everything anybody you assume to be a "leftist", is automatically "lying" While you right wingers, are always not only always right, (pun not intended), and have never told so much as a little fib, in their entire lives

So you know, it's about time for the padlock to come down on the hot wet mess. Don't say I didn't warn you, and don't try and put all the blame on me when it does.

After all, as they say, "it takes two to tango".
