Unable to connect to wireless network

Hello all,

I have recently formatted my laptop because it didn't work properly anymore.
Now that it's working again, I find myself unable to connect to my wireless network.
I believe I should only have to enter my SSID code and network key while trying to access my connection.
This doesn't work.
When I try to repair the connection it hangs at connecting to wireless network.
Anybody have an idea what's wrong?

Did you install the wireless adapter drivers?
Look in device manager to see if there are any Yellow Marks indicating missing drivers.
You should be able to get your drivers from the maker of the laptop.

I don't know exactly how to do this I believe, but to my knowledge it is there.
Some Intel thingy.
I see the connection I'm supposed to use, but it just won't connect.
