If you are updating to Windows 10 & you still see Windows 8.1 in your start screen in msconfig do this to fix it.
Open an Admin cmd prompt & type in or paste in---
bcdedit /set {current} Description "Windows 10"
Better to copy & paste it in.
Copy the above & right click at the blinking cursor in the cmd prompt---
To paste it in & press the Enter key.
Windows makes mistakes.
This is a way to correct one of them.
Restart your computer.
