Utc.app.json and telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json files are corrupt

I recently ran the sfc/scannow feature in Windows 7 to scan for any corrupt files. Two files were found to be corrupt, but could not be repaired:
utc.app.json
telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json
I have followed the procedures from this website. Unfortunately, the corrupt files still appear on the logs.

Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

You could try doing a fresh Windows install after backing up important files. Apply all the Windows updates before installing most of the other programs

Unfortunately I was hoping that I would not go that route. Is there any other alternative?

Well at least back up your important files. it's always a good thing to do. Can't think of anything else to do at this point...
