Video problem

Hii.... guys....
I am getting a problem with my pc whenever I play any game like saint row 3 , battlefield 3 etc..
when I start it only I am able to listen sound of the there is no video comming in any of the game.
if anybody knows the answer so pleasee........... I request that tell me fast

? does monitor work in ordinary places, like browser?
? what is display resolution then ?
? is this the same for games ?
? temperatures (idle/in game) of gpu / cpu?
? beeps?
? error messages?
? can you tab to another application?

For ex. when I start any game like battlefield so the audio is comming of the game in blink screen I can click on new game also but cant see any thing
