Solved Virus and Malwarebytes access denied

The problem with windows defender is that it seems to also control startup programs, and so if I try to disable a startup program it gives the same error. For example for some reason that securia program completely wrecks my computers ability to process anything, which is fine if I use it weekly but I don't really want it to come up on startup. I have a program called glary utilities that also has a startup program manager and so I might be able to get round it that way. Should I disable securia from starting up via glary?

The revo uninstaller seemed to work quite well so thanks. It still came up with access denied message but carried on regardless and now it has disappeared from the programs list.

With mbam, I have already used that mbam_clean tool and it seemed to work in removing it from my programs list (and the folder and all its files), but it wont allow me to reinstall it, and gives that message whenever I try. I think I've just managed to sort it out though, I manually deleted the files in the location where malwarebytes was having trouble installed ie. program data/malwarebytes/conifguration/config.cfg and it seemed to install cleanly.

Ah maybe not, I seem to still have spybot s&d and spybot s&d 2 folders that have quite a few files left in them and when I try to delete them it says I need permission to do so. Neither of the two programs seems to show up on the list of programs however.

Ah yes thanks that seems to have got rid of the rest of it thanks.

I realised I could go into services via task manager and disable secunia as a startup from there.

Thanks a lot for your time and helping me step-by-step to fix my computer. Really is much appreciated.
