Explorer.exe – bad image
When we try to open anything (program, windows explorer, etc.), we get a message:
The application of Dll globalroot/systemroot/system32/UAChpjlvdwhqg.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
The dll in that is underlined is different in each of the messages.
But the file name always starts with UAC
1. I was able to download mbam, but not install (tried many times rebooted, no luck, therefore no log).
2. I was able to download superantispyware. But again, not able to install and run.
3. I was able to download and install Avira (log attached)
4. I had an older copy of dss, it ran, log attached (both main & extra)
5. I could not load the most recent hijackthis. But I was ablto to open an older copy. Log attached.
Any help is appreciated.
