What do you think, how our lives will be after the pandemic?

I think we will be more careful regarding our health and will not take it for granted. And some might still think that there was no pandemic.

It will probably be in our lives for quite some time. Probably years. Even once an inoculation is tested and ready there are going to be many that will refuse to get it. That is probably good for the rest of us as a whole because then they can test their ridiculous herd immunity chant on themselves but the high infection rate and the history we have with it will still be on the news.

It's already happening, so it really will be fine!
I don't involve myself with Teitter or Facebook, so I don't know if this "conspiracy theory" is out there but here goes.

Trump has positioned appointees in every place strategic to blocking Biden's claim to the White House. For example:

Leading off, appointed by President Trump in 2017 to head the the General Services Administration, former Big Law attorney Emily W. Murphy has the power to formally acknowledge the apparent winner of the presidential election, which then allows that president-elect to access federal transition funds and office

I"m wondering how much sunshine Trump had to blow up her fat a** to block those funds and access.

Not only that, but Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper, who advised against sending active military into several cities where violence was taking place. He installed, "an expert in counter terrorism", who is undoubtedly a yes man. It gives one pause to wonder if another violent protest takes place, they will send in troops, "to combat terrorism.

The number of lawsuits, ,the constant fraudulent claims of "massive voter fraud, all point toward a man unhinged, with paranoid delusions of grandeur and dictatorship.

When I watch today's news, I keep thinking I'm watching news about a military coup being passed off as an election in Nicaragua, or some other 3rd world sh!t hole.

It's honestly frightening.

Agreed! And all this crap coming from a man/party that supposedly values the constitution. As I see it, the only part of the constitution that seems valued by them is the second amendment.

I read a story about this yesterday. It says that Trumpy opened the door to someone perhaps even more frightening. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/a...uthoritarians-can-get-elected-america/617023/

I find it interesting that Trumpy has been claiming voter fraud since at least 2016 where he claimed that 3M people voted illegally - which - incidentally, is the vote count that Clinton received beyond Trumpy's in the popular vote. Must be a coincidence.

You're missing a couple of points in my conspiracy..

Throughout my life, I've held onto, (and distributed this), notion/philosophy; "masturbation is something everybody does, denies, and accuses everybody else of". When you take that, and pair it up with, "methinks the lady doth protest too much", you start to catch on to what Trump is doing.

First he accuses everybody else of voter fraud, and then he;
1: Tries do dismantle the US Postal Service, by planting another campaign contributor/good old boy, in the job of postmaster general.
2: Then he looks the other way when the Republican governor of Texas, allows one drop box for something like 3 million people.
3: They had unofficial ballot drop off boxes in California, which Republican workers were scooping up by the score..
So, IMO, voter suppression is voter fraud, and it's been done on a grand scale in this election. And all the while, Trump's been playing the part of the magician's leggy assistant, diverting our attention with claims of, "massive voter fraud".

I will give him one thing, he displays the "craftiness of the insane".

I saw an excellent episode of "Frontline" which has Trump to a T, IMO https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/the-choice-2020-trump-vs-biden/ He will do literally anything to deflect blame from himself. It is a tactic he picked up over the years, according to the Frontline episode and has employed it to reinforce his brand. He also blames anyone and everything but himself for his failings. My wife and I think he is a psychopath.

The Frontline episode is an interesting view, IMO. He is/was a fan of Norman Vincent Peale; I thought that that was interesting.

Hopefully, the courts step in and whack is a$$.

I agree, voter suppression is voter fraud.

It's not only "out there", it's well into tin-foil hat territory. They're executive-branch positions. Who else but Trump would fill them?

Long debunked conspiracy nonsense. The changes in question the media hyperventilated over (removal of some mail sorting machines and distribution boxes) long predate the appointment of Dejoy. Also, even before his appointment, there were plenty of media stories about the lengthy delays and backlogs the UPSP (along with UPS and other package carriers) were experiencing.

A pandemic disrupts work schedules while simultaneously vastly increasing package delivery volume, and some delays result. It takes a very, very weak mind to read a conspiracy into those facts.

I'm going to go on with the hope that the disaster that was trump will be a lesson well learned. That if someone like him does come along even members of his own party will sense the stink way before it is too late.

Fingers Crossed.

I have never been a fan of the term "Democratic Socialism" but I began to actually see it in a favorable light after witnessing what could be described as Democratic Fascism that trump and his cult tried to inflict on America.

The next time you publish a bunch of deliberately false information for the sake of trolling, I'll report you
Eh? The first three suits on that list were all won by Trump (the first was won on appeal.)

" Nov 12, 2020 · A Pennsylvania judge ruled in favor of President Donald Trump’s campaign on Nov. 12, saying Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar overstepped her authority to change an election deadline just days before the election..."

As for deliberately false information, posting altered videos to try to suggest Trump called Covid-19 a hoax is about as bad as it gets, right up there with claiming that a secret military coax is being prepared because the President appointed someone to a presidentially-appointed position.

Lol, Atlantic Magazine -- still struggling to recover after their fraudulent story about Trump cancelling his WWI cemetery visit.

Yeah, that story doesn't sound solid. Trump would never miss a photo op. I especially liked the one where he had the Secret Service tear gas protesters, while on his way to St.John's church.
