What Ever Happened to ICQ?

Used ICQ for many years, used to love it, but I guess it lacked group chats, that's why the family moved away from it at some point

So long ago.

I had a 6-digit UIN, but the exact number is long gone from memory - I think it started with a '6'.

Anyone also remember Roger Wilco? Or GameSpy?

As soon as I started reading the article, my number popped into my head! It's been a good 25 yrs since I used ICQ. It was good practice remembering 7 digit numbers (mine was 6698389) because as a long haul driver, I drove containers for 3 yrs that have 4 letters and 7 numbers. While I didn't memorize them because we changed containers twice in a week, I could remember the numbers long enough to do paperwork. ;-)

I miss ICQ.
