I am preparing for the Cisco Implementing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure exam (300-620) and came across a question about Interpod in Cisco ACI.

What is the main purpose of Interpod in networking, and how important is this topic for the exam?

Interpod in Cisco ACI basically means connecting multiple ACI pods together so they behave like one fabric. The main goal is scalability and geo expansion while keeping centralized policy management and workload mobility.

For the exam you probably don’t need super deep details but knowing at a high level what it does, when it’s used, basic architecture, and how it differs from Multi-Site.
