I started thinking about this at work today when I saw someone with wireless earbuds in. I hate the idea of wireless earbuds. Battery life has gotten better but they're really easy to lose. If they were cheap like wired ones I wouldn't care, but I've seen people search for over an hour for a lose ear bud.
On the other hand, I think 4k120 gaming is a must have while I have friends who are perfectly happy running at 1440 or even 1080.
I'm giving those as just a few examples. What are your must haves that other people might thing are silly and what is your least favorite popular tech.
