Which Wireless PCI card for an Inspiron 530s

Hello,

I'm terrified I've made a big mistake by buying an Inspiron 530s, that's the slim case version of the 530. I hadn't seen a photo and stupidly didn't think through how it being 'slim' would effect the compatability. My wireless card doesn't fit because it's too wide!! Oh god.

So I've tried to see if I can find some advice online about which one to buy but I can't. Could anyone please advise? I'm also looking for a graphics card for the same purpose but I'll post it in the appropriate forum.

Don't worry, just look for low profile PCI cards

Thanks. I've asked around and apparently all I need to do is replace the end bit with a smaller one that will fit. I can't remember what it's called... back plate? I need a half back plate.

Yes many of the low profile cards come with just what you need...

Yes you can do that as long as the "nice" card is low enough profile...
