Why cant I listen to online radio?

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. Everytime i try to listen to radio on-line (i have tried several sites with no luck!) It will not start streaming. What happens is this......
i click on the link to open the streaming radio (in this case. http://www.929.com.au/player) what happens is, in the status bar of the player it says 'connecting to media' for about 30 seconds, then the status bar goes back to 'Ready'.

I am running McAfee Security center as my virus protection and firewall, could this be the problem?? Help!!

Have you not been asked to install it's player ?
Or give you a choice of player ?

Play sounds in Web Pages
Set this on in Browser Tools/Inet options/advanced
Mine works ok,but it's no great station.Just selling music.

Yep, i have the play sounds box ticked and i still cannot listen
