Should I be trying to boost the transmission range of the router to get a better signal or the reception of the PCI WiFi card in my computer? I don't want to fish ethernet cables through the house then outside under ground to the shop in order to recieve internet there. I tried using a 9 dbi antenna vs the 2 dbi that came with the wireless PCI card. I recieve the modem signal but it has 0 strength.
