I have a 2nd generation Airport Extreme.My wifi is inconsistent works then doesn't work.Have tried all kinds of things but the network is unreliable.I have a new ISP modem and the signal from the ISP is fine..they tell me it is the Airport.
I would appreciate any thoughts/suggestions on what might be causing the wifi to drop.I live in a medium sized home and am thinking of buying a newer router but perhaps there are other steps before sinking more money.
My operating system on IMAC is 10.9.2 and on iPad IOS MOST RECENT EDITION.
