Win 7 power display options

i am wondering if my laptop (OS:Windows 7 Home premium 64bit) could display more than 2 display power options when I click on the little icon on the bottom right of my computer near the clock? I know Vista Home premium displayed more than 2 and it's been buggy me since I switched over.

We need to know a lot more about your laptop brand and model... It is very possible that VISTA creates different display of power than Windows 7, but most of that should come from the drivers of the manufacturer that fit that board.

I have a hp pavilion dv7-1285dx laptop which came with Vista home premium 64bit. I installed a copy of Windows 7 home premium 64bit and now am only showing two options to select from on the bottom right for quick changing of power display choices. I can create as many as i want but i have to click on 'more power options' and i would like to have the easy changeability i use to have when i used vista.
